KDS Videoplayer is an alternative for those who are tired of big fancy players with a lot of functions that most people doesn?t use anyway. It focuses on simplicity, stability and small size (92 KB).
It is not beautiful and will never win any awards but it will get the job
done.
The graphical user interface is made with the intention to give as much room
as possible to the videowindow.
It is developed with the intention to not use, as far as possible, external
dependencies.
The only external dependencies it needs is DirectShow and of course
appropiate codecs.

Please note that this is a general multimedia player for playing back AVI files. Different AVI files may be encoded with different "codecs" (compressors and decompressors ; COders and DECoders), so by having an AVI player does mean you can play every single AVI file in the world (you'll need to separately download and install the codec for the AVI file as well). For more information on codecs, AVIs, and DivX in general, please refer to our DivX Help Page.
